  • Description: Provides services to ensure the safety of older adults and adults with disabilities. Helps older adults and dependent adults remain safely in their homes. Social workers investigate allegations of abuse. They also help provide advocacy. This includes information and referrals for housing, food, clothing, and case management. Free training on elder abuse is available to any group or organization.Abuse can include physical abuse, neglect and self-neglect, mental suffering, and financial abuse.
